Eucharist celebration of St. Bavo's Cathedral Ghent

Eucharistic Celebrations

Saint Bavo's Cathedral is primarily a church and the bishop's church of the diocese of Ghent.

Since the construction works for the visitor center "Lam Gods Sint-Baafs" started, the daily Eucharistic celebration takes place at 11 am in St. Nicholas Church. This church is located 200 m from the cathedral. On Sundays and public holidays, services still continue in the cathedral. The chapter services (Monday and Friday) and the daily services at 8.45 am take place in the crypt of the cathedral.  Chapter services in the choir during summer period.

In the context of the corona measures imposed by the National Security Council, we refer for more specific guidelines to the parish magazine "Church and Life" and the website of the parish H. Sint-Jan De Doper: kerknet.be
